NorCal Bats will bring bats to workshops 1 and 2.
Effie Yeaw Nature Center has recently collaborated with California Northstate University (CNSU) to partner up in offering educational workshops to the public. The Beautiful Bats team goal is to educate about White Nose Syndrome (WNS), how it is spread, and what we can do to help the bat population. The workshop dates and times are below:

Workshop 1: Friday, April 15th from 5pm – 7pm (table setup with WNS information, bat biofacts, brochures, activities & games, etc.)
Workshop 2: Saturday, April 16th from 1:30pm – 3:30pm (held in our Assembly Building with PowerPoint presentation, activities & games)
Workshop 3: Sunday, April 17th from 5pm – 7pm (table setup with WNS information & an evening walk through the EYNC preserve with a bat detector!)
