NorCalBats offers exciting, informative lectures on bats for libraries, businesses, and other organizations. These are live online presentations using Zoom (or your preferred online presentation program), which include:
- Informative slides and videos about bats.
- A discussion of the harmful myths that surround these animals.
- Information about the importance of bats in our environment.
- Live bats of California native species that are presented for viewing and discussion.
All bats are certified as non-releasable by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife and the U.S. Department of Agriculture—injury precludes them from surviving the wild.
The presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour, but we can remain online longer if there are questions from the attendees.
If you are looking for an on-site presentation see our On-site bat lecture page.
